Infantry definition in H&H medieval fantasy

Post by palewarrior »

Hello just a quick question, in the rules it states that Infantry can move backwards and even disengage from combat. So which troops are classed as "infantry" ?
Using my Orcs as an example, my Orc spears I guess are infantry but what about archers, Mountain orcs & trolls ?
Apologies if this is in the rules somewhere.

Hi Palewarrior,
RE: Page 12 moving backwards or sideways. "In a hand-to-hand combat situation only A and B class infantry can move backwards."
"Infantry" in my opinion should only mean 'human' infantry. Any orcs, rats, trolls etc. regardless of their class would be therefore be excluded.
Kind regards
Paul
