DRIFT TEMPLATE H&H Fantasy

Hi all , having still only played one game of the H&H Fantasy game , I was wondering if there was any mechanism for possibly using the drift template from the Raging Empire rules when firing stone throwers/trebuchets to represent wayward shots? would that work? or am I talking nonsense! :)
