My latest solo battle featured a wide range of the Kallistra hexes (roads, marsh, hills, slopes and crags) plus a few with my own toppings, as three of my 6mm armies met up in a totally unhistorical matchup.
In the photograph, the Thracians are advancing from the right, with one tribal grouping trying to sneak around the wood in the foreground. The Queen of Sheba perches on the hills on the left of the battlefield as her Hollywood inspired troops move off into the distance to counter the Thracian advance on that flank. This leaves the Parthian Surena to deal with the Thracians on either side of the patch of marsh.
