Hello all
Hi Well I've finally got round to registering , I've been a fan of Hexon since the start and after playing the Battle of Hastings game at the Kallistra open day have been revamping my Hexon Terrain for 10mm Zulu wars, 6mm Waterloo and some Tolkien Lord of the rings 10mm Fantasy stuff, If I can work out how to post a pic I will!

Hi Dan, welcome to the forum.
It's good to see the modelling you have been working on, it's looking really great. Looking forward to seeing the full layouts! Thanks for sharing the photos

oh those really are very nice. I use modular cork boards and have never really been tempted by hex terrain. Your tiles really are excellent though and the way you have personalised them is VERY attractive!
Winning is not a priority for gamers but losing is a definite no-no

Re: Hello all
Curlerman you should treat yourself to some hex terrain it's good stuff!
Chopperboydan, those are excellent. I particulalrly like the wheat fields; this has been cut from door matting? Did you have any problems cutting it to fit the hex terrain tile?

Re: Hello all
Cheers chaps,
no the wheat field was cut from a rubber backed terrain mat from a railway modellers product, can't remember what its called I will try and find out, it was around £20 and I had enough to cover 8 full tiles, I have used door mats too but haven't stuck them down so I can lift them off when troops move into that hex, very simple to do using a one hex template and a craft knife, I will post some pics soon.

Re: Hello all
Hi again, the wheatfield is from BUSCH - Cornfield/wild grass mat, 80cm x 80cm around £20. A lot easier and a better look than flock
