Hordes & Heroes questions

We search on the forum but don’t find answers… here 2 questions:

1/ Hordes: Ancient British have Warriors (Horde) CH andFanatics (Horde)… We understand that there are classified « C » and « B ». Gauls have Warriors (Horde) CH and Elite Warriors (Horde) AH… We understand that there are classified « C » and « A ».
But page 24 of the rule, it is write: « A horde can be of any troop class apart from ‘A’ class »

May be Gauls Elite Warriors are AH for Agressive Horde… but do they count « A » on the Combat Result Table? Do the « A » class rules applied to them?

2/ Several questions about Combined Arms:
- We understand that some liste allow 3 x 4 stand units can be combined into 2 x 6 stand units… this should be done at the beginning of the game. Where can it be done during the game? And is it possible to do the opposite during the game?

- Combined Arms of different troops is possible but We don’t understand how this must be done… We saw battle report with 4 archer stands behind 2 WWG on the same hex… is this right?
If a 4 crossbowmen stands unit is combined with a 4 spearmen stands unit… does this make a single unit of 8 bases? Or 2 units of 4 stands, half and half, crossbowmen and spearmen?
And is it possible to do the opposite during the game?
