In April 1915, Australian and New Zealand forces landed at Anzac Cover. Given that my grandfather served in the New Zealand Division in WW1 (but not in Gallipoli) and the prominence given to this campaign through ANZAC Day commemorations, I have long wanted to wargame the landings. The terrain is very difficult. It seemed impossible to do with any reasonable semblance of accuracy. Kallistra Hexon Terrain plus high quality terrain mats has changed that. Here is the outcome of the first play test:
