Battle of Hoth using Hex Wing Rules

Post by chopperboydan »

Here's my first post for a while. I will be putting on a participation game at the "JOY OF SIX" Wargames Show in Sheffield in July this year. Based on the popular X-Wing Miniatures Rules I will be adapting them somewhat to use Hexes, I will also be including ground forces all of which will be played out on my Kallistra Hexon Terrain Board. Using the Plain brown terrain features a paint job can quickly and simply change the scene into the frozen wastes of Hoth. ( If I can work out how to attach some pic I will do so!

Can't see to add pics????

I will be airing both Hexon Board Gaming Tables at the show, I plan to have two 5FT X 11FT tables. The first representing snowy Hoth and another , the forest moon of Endor. Both tables will have one edge of deep space.

check out reveillestudios.co.uk for the progress of my latest project, HEX -WING.

Hi,
I really like the look of these sprayed terrain pieces. The 8 hex mountain range is particularly impressive. The completed terrain layout should be something rather special and I really look forward to seeing it.
Kind regards
Paul
