I do like 1/72 and 15mm for 20th century topics, you've got tons of quick build plastic models that let you save money, I'm partial to Zvezda, Plastic Soldier Company and Armourfast offerings; at least, that's what I use for these eras.

Thanks for the AAR, I'm looking for a powder-age wargame to play as I'm only playing Cold War Gone Hot themed rules so far, and it's cool to see that this one allows so much flexibility in terms of engagements, I'll make sure to give H&H Medieval a try!
