Re: Raging Empires WW1 Rules

Thanks Paul, I thought it was roughly that from my memory of the game. I've switched my attention to the Somme rather than Passchendale for my own first foray with the figures and rules. I'm going to look at the fighting for Theipval Ridge which took place in late September. I might be able to get a...

Re: Raging Empires WW1 Rules

I realise this is resurrecting an old threaddress but what sized forces were usedoing in the demo games from a couple of years ago. For some reason I am in a couple of the pictures from phalanx. Odd that two years later I may be making my first purchases for my new project!

Re: Late War Raging Empires lists

When do preorders need to be in? I'm looking at getting some bits from Phalanx to start my late war project.

Re: Raging empires game size.

Excellent. I'll look to try and sort some lists out. Is the QRS available that you used for the Somme demo?

Raging empires game size.

Hi! A quick question on game size. Your demo games are always pretty spectacular in there size. I was in awe of your Somme game at Salute. An impressive amount of figures on the table and you can see why the First day was so bloody with the dense mass of British troops advancing on the intact German...

Re: Hello from me.

Oh my gosh, Norm. My problem (!) is that Kallistra produce figures for every period I wargame. ACW/AWI are my main love, closely followed by WW1. But I also enjoy WotR, Samurai, Dark Ages and Fantasy  I have quietly observed Kallistra from afar over the last couple of years and been tempted...

ACW/AWI Hex rules

Hi

Just wondering if these are available, even in play test version? I can see them mentioned in various posts around the forum but I can find no sign of them anywhere.

Thanks

Re: More WW1 Packs available

My goodness that is a terrific paint job.

I will echo the positive comments having picked up a couple of packs as samples yesterday I have painted up 4 British and 4 Germans. Lovely sculpts and castings. Now to work out a small order to play a game of Raging Empires :-)

Hello from me.

First post having joined after attending Phalanx today. I went along quite happily with the intention of spending about £3.00 on some bases. I have come away with plans a plenty for gaming in 12mm on Hexon terrain. All thanks to a very pleasant chat with Paul and James at the Kallistra stand. I will...
