I am assembling one of your siege towers , inside the outer sections are little chevrons ,should they be pointing upwards ?

Hi Gabz,
The chevrons are marks to indicate how the pieces should be placed in the mould for efficient casting - they are not a related to construction of the tower.
For quick and efficient assembly make sure the two large side pieces are the same way up with the smallest distance to the first of the 3 support beams at the top. The 3 platforms are inserted with the hinged one at the top and the plain one positioned on the lower of the middle support beams on the two large side pieces.

Assembly can be made easy by holding the various pieces in position using a small amount of blue-tac before fixing in position using superglue.

Aha ! Okay got it now. I found it easier to lay one of the side walls flat ,then work on assembling it from there ! Will put a pic up when it's finished
