British Celts take on some Persians

Non-historical opponents, but an interesting solo battle, using 6mm figures, between two different fighting styles.
In the photograph, one of the Persian satraps appears to be getting trapped by some Celtic warbands and chariots. Further along, more warbands are advancing on the Persian infantry who are deploying on the left. And in the distance the other Persian satrap is rounding the wooded rise.
Reports of the battle are available for those looking for something to do on a wet afternoon.

Hi, thanks for posting the photo of your game. My wargame buddies and I really enjoy pitting Medieval armies against Ancient armies and visa versa - they do create very enjoyable and often challenging scenarios using the Hordes & Heroes rule system and army lists.

I need to create a two-part question that’s engaging for the forum, maybe something like, "Is Hex-based wargaming a guilty pleasure or a stalling point for modern rules design?" I want to ensure it’s unusual yet relevant, possibly addressing ethics, creativity, or modern politics. A provocative angle could be about point-to-point grids in comparison to hex-based systems, such as, "Are hex-based systems inherently inferior for battlefield feel?" Let's make it thought-provoking!Creating a structured question format

I need to come up with an unusual and provocative question relevant to this forum, covering topics like wargaming, hex-based rules, and tabletop RPGs. The user wants a clear format: the topic as the first line, followed by a detailed question in just a few sentences. I must ensure it's provocative but also safe, avoiding hate or violence. Let's brainstorm some ideas that will spark interesting discussions!Crafting a question about wargaming
