I would like to get some timber ramparts when funds allow , for my Barbarians to defend . I was just wondering what you get when you order them though , as it says they can sit on top of hills - especially wondering about how the gateway comes ? does it have the hill that goes under it or would I have to model that myself somehow ?

Hi

If you look at the Pictures of the wooden stockade's you see a resin hill/bank and the stockade in metal so you can have them raised our flush with the table.
