I do have to make some specific road pieces to fit up to the hills as my own pieces are a tad too wide to fit tightly. I'm working on some depth conversions at the moment. Pictures to follow

There are two completed single hexons. Basically upside down boards to use the depth with varnish and plaster work, all flocked and tufted. The wide river sections are a long haul job. I have two four hexon, four three, hexon, two two hexon, but need to make some more bends and some single boards for variety. I intend to pour resin on a prepared river bed up to a level equal to the height of the recess in the board [where the clip goes]. The banks will be built up in a combination of clay and flower oasis, and all will be dressed with flocks, gravels, and tufts. Prepping the boards is a considerable job, but I have always felt that Kallistra's advantage lay in the depth it offers. Trenches and small streams are also on the agenda

Even though the depth is modest, my oppo and I really think it makes a difference. Not in the right order alas
I experimented with using hi quality photographs under the varnish. Might have worked better on something larger and with a smaller scale photo. I will try it again on a lake, but not for the rivers I think.

Good idea to make the river sections bigger.

few pics of our latest set-up. We have decided to flock the black hexon boards but they will do for now.

I still can't get over the sheer size of that hexed area. Marvelous.

There's a lot of hexon boards in it lol we're just setting up two other areas to run with it. Much smaller ones I might add. We are simply fortunate to have the area available.
