All this sunshine has inspired me to begin work on my next project. The sudan and first up will be the siege of Khartoum. Heres a few pics of the Nile so far......

Now that is very nice, just enough texture to be aesthetically pleasing while remaining functional.

Cheers Norm, yes that's always the thing when creating functional war-gaming scenery rather than a diorama. Need to lighten it up a bit as it's a little dark but happy with the end result, just got to make 83 more now!! :/

Is that the pre-formed Kallistra road / stream tile, or have you made your own up from a blank template?

thats the one Norm yes just a plain un-flocked brown stream section
here are some 15mm buildings I have based up ready on the Hexon templates, makes it easy to quickly place down anywhere on the base tiles
