Hi folks
Just a few quick questions to ask if anybody uses kallistra for Command and Colours "Block" games such as Ancients and Napoleonics.
- Can blocks stand up on flocked green hexon boards or would they need an underlying base?
- Would the blocks look too sparse on the Kallistra hexes 100mm in comparison to the board with 60mm hexes that the game comes with?
- What miniatures do people prefer to use with (A) Ancients and (B) Napoleonics - I know that some people are using the Hoardes and Heroes 15mm scale historical figures for Ancients - do you please have any advice for creating armies?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best wishes
Graham
Kallistra and "Blocks"
Re: Kallistra and "Blocks"
Hi,
Command and Colours are very popular games and we have supplied Hexon terrain to a large number of gamers who prefer to use this system in combination with miniatures of various scales from a whole host of different manufacturers.
The C&C blocks could be used on Hexon even if they are rather small in relative scale they should still stand-up OK, with or without a base.
I've seen C&C Napoleonic games using 15mm and 28mm miniatures. Because it is a hex based game any scale miniatures can be used to good effect as long as they can fit in the hex.
